ISTQB advanced status: in progress

Image
Reporting status on ISTQB advanced test analyst certificate: preparation in progress. Almost finishing reading the book , then will try another one . Do not feel very exciting while digging into testing theory - in my current position I do not use a lot what I read about. Just taking care of my present and future as a tester. Would be nice to be certified. On of the best sites found recently - softwaretestinggenius.com . Full site of pdf download, ISTQB sample questions. Sample exams could be the latest phase of preparation for me - after the Books. Any recommendation? http://www.softwaretestinggenius.com

"120 Practise questions and solutions" . Will take ISEB testing foundation exam. As foundation ISEB now relates to ISTQB foundation level, the book should help. Going to passs it until Christmas. Stil some time left for studying.

„Suggest me what to learn for this field“ – how to change the career to software testing. There is huge amount information on the web. Search google or any other search engine for keywords – software testing, testing or tester. And here you are – hundreds of links, articles, posts, etc. The problem is – where to find the most concentrated material for studying. Articles, magazines and blogs are ok, especially on specific topic. To see the full view of software testing field you need a book or a few of them. Try British Computer Society software testing certifications learning material. The syllabuses and the list of references – standards and books should help to learn more (and a lot) in this field.
